About the product

KeyStack is a cloud platform distribution by ITKey based on OpenStack. It includes the following main components:

Multi-site cloud

The fault-tolerant cloud platform located in some data-centers with common network connectivity

CI/CD-conveyor

KeyStack is based on the CI-conveyor that is applied to develop the installation. It allows to use KeyStack in the client CI/CD-conveyor chain

Public cloud

As a platform, KeyStack is appropriate for creating the public cloud

Private cloud

Because of its architecture and functions, KeyStack allows to create the private cloud

Providing S3

KeyStack includes CEPH with the ability to organize S3 with unlimited scalability

KeyStack features

Service orchestrator is one of the most important components of KeyStack. It is based on CI/CD pipeline and is supposed to manage infrastructure centrally

Capabilities of inbuilt KeyStack service orchestrator:

  • Managing multi-site infrastructure - by deploying the big installation (>1500 hosts), the schema of installation dividing into regions and cells is used. The service orchestrator allows to rule different regions as the unified cloud
  • The service catalog - the portal with XaaS-services in the self service mode
  • Day-2 automatisation - the automatisation of service life cycle after creating
  • Managing Kubernetes infrastructure
  • The UI development to the service orchestrator and other functions highlighted as “2023” are being planned in the product road map
